There will be 2 Service learning activities occurring on conference nights. Students will attend one of these nights. Working with the FACS department students will sell some of their bowls filled with soup made by FACS students. Proceeds will be donated to a local food shelf.
Projects are due on Fridays at the end of class. Late work (late is the next class period of the same day) will drop student work one letter grade. Absence is not an acceptable excuse for late work. Due Dates are on Fridays.
Grading Rubric for all activities:
25% Technical – Quality/craftsmanship, use of media and materials
25% Composition - Visual organization
25% Expressive Qualities – Effectively Communicate Message, nonverbally
25% Time Management/citizenship – Attention to class tasks during class time.
Projects are graded Weekly on Fridays. Work is graded 2 times, unfired greenware and completed glazeware. Final grades occur at the end of each quarter and semester.
